AMIGOS SPANISH CLUB
(Ages 5-10)
Learning Spanish is as easy as uno, dos, tres! In Afterschool Amigos Spanish Club,
children will learn numbers, colors, shapes, greetings, days of the week, and more.
Students will be singing, clapping, and counting their way towards learning the
Spanish Language. Each child will receive a participation award.

CHESS SCHOLARS
(Ages 5-12)
Develop your child's intellect through the royal game of chess! Current research
has shown a strong link between chess and academic performance in a variety
of areas, including mathematics and language arts. Chess has been proven to
enhance children's motivation, concentration, focus, social skills, and creativity.
Each class will consist of a fun, interactive teaching period, and guided practice
time. Both beginner and experienced players are welcome and will learn under the
guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach.

I SCREAM, YOU SCREAM
(Ages 6-10)
Get out of the heat and cool down with your very own ice cream flavors. This cool
party will have an ice cream craft, group ice cream games and participants will
make their own ice cream sundaes. Each ice cream lover will leave with directions
on how to make ice cream at home.

GIRL POWER CAMP
(Ages 8-11)
A camp just for girls! This camp will include relaxation tips, group games, sports,
craft projects, and local adventures. Each day will be filled with making new friends,
team building challenges, and lots of fun! Girls will travel on Wednesday and
Thursday to a local forest preserve for hiking and playgrounds to explore.
