BEGINNER YOUTH POTTERY WHEEL
(Ages 11-17)
Participants will experience the entire process of creating pottery on the wheel,
learning how to attach, center, pull, trim, and glaze their own creations with a wide
choice of colors.

YOUTH POTTERY OPEN STUDIO WHEEL WORKSHOP
(Ages 13-17)
This class is for experienced youth who are comfortable attaching and centering
clay on the wheel. Participants will work on self-determined projects with
instructor guidance. It is expected that students will continue on for subsequent
spring sessions and glaze their work during that time.

ADULT POTTERY
ADULT HAND BUILDING
(Ages 18+)
This introductory class will teach students how to hand-build with clay. Students
will learn pottery basics like coil, pinch pot, slab, and forming techniques. Every
participant will complete four glazed projects demonstrating their new ceramic
skills. Creativity is encouraged to personalize each piece. No previous ceramics
experience required.

BIRDS OF A FEATHER STACK TOGETHER
(Ages 18+)
Learn how to create clay mushrooms to put in your garden and make a mushroom
bell chime for your tree. These make great gifts or great additions to your yard.
Add colorful glaze and fun textures to make pieces unique!

BROWN CLAY WORKSHOP
(Ages 18+)
This workshop is open to experienced wheel and handbuilders as an open studio.
Participants will use brown clay instead of studio white clay. Pieces will be bisque
fired and stored. It is expected that students will continue on for subsequent spring
sessions and glaze their brown clay pieces while signed up for spring session open
studio or continuing wheel class.
