WINTER 2026 Please note: Lombard Park District reserves the right to modify the contents of this publication. Dear Residents, As winter approaches, it is a wonderful time to gather with family and friends to celebrate the holiday season and reflect on the past year. The Lombard Park District is excited to announce upcoming playground upgrades at Lombard Common playground, located off Edgewood, and Old Grove West playground, located off Michelle Lane. These projects are scheduled to go out to bid in the fall of 2025, with construction anticipated to begin in the spring of 2026. Planned improvements include new playground equipment, concrete curbing, accessible pathways, and benches. Staff are also proud to share that we have received the Government Finance Officers Association's Distinguished Budget Presentation Award and the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. Celebrating these achievements as we head into 2026 is a great honor. The Lombard Park District is gearing up for another festive winter season!
