CREATURE COMFORT
(Ages 7-10)
Using a combination of paint, sculpting, collage, drawing, sewing, and nature finds,
participants will design and construct a dioramic house for a sculpted critter. Homes
will be complete with home decor, furnishings, and all the comforts a critter could
need! All participants need is a great imagination!

ADULT POTTERY
ADULT HANDBUILDING
(Ages 18+)
This introductory class will teach students how to handbuild with clay. Students
will learn pottery basics like coil, pinch pot, slab, and forming techniques. Every
participant will complete four glazed projects demonstrating their new ceramic
skills. Creativity is encouraged to personalize each piece. No previous ceramics
experience required.

BEGINNER ADULT WHEEL

Learn to use the pottery wheel to create your own projects. Students will be introduced
to fundamentals of attaching, centering, throwing, and trimming basic forms. You will
use your choice of glazes to finish your pieces. Space is limited, sign up early.

CONTINUING ADULT WHEEL
(Ages 18+)
This wheel class is for those who have advanced past the beginners class and can
successfully attach/center 2-3 lbs of clay independently. Students will be able to
work independently on the wheel with instructor guidance. Previous beginner
class or instructor consent required to join the class.

A HOUSEPLANT FOR YOUR PLANT
(Ages 18+)
In this hands-on workshop, participants will create a whimsical ceramic planter in
the shape of a house. From cozy cottages to bustling cafés, charming bookshops
to quirky hardware stores, the style is completely up to you. Your plant's new
home will be approximately 7x7x7 inches when finished. No prior experience
required. Just bring your creativity and let's craft the perfect dwelling for your
leafy roommate!

POTTERY OPEN STUDIO
(Ages 18+)
This is an open studio setting for individuals with previous pottery experience.
Instructor consent to join the class is required. Students will have an opportunity
to work independently on the wheel and handbuilding to create their own unique
pieces. Class includes all supplies: clay, tools, glaze, and electric kiln firing. Looking
for extra studio time? Sign up for the extended hour of class. Participants must
be enrolled in the two hour class in order to register for the extra hour. Space is
limited, sign up early.
