PROGRAM MANAGER ANDREW DERWENT | aderwent@lombardparks.com MARTHA HOUSTON | mhouston@lombardparks.com SPORTS TRAINING YOUTH ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT (Ages 7-10) This is the ultimate program to help kids gain confidence, learn sports, and improve their overall fitness. Trainers work with athletes to develop a broad base of sport skills and implement them into various games. Participants will further develop their strength, speed, and agility through mindful training and natural movements like crawling, lunging, sprinting, and jumping. Code Day Date Time R/NR Fee 101122-01 M, W 04/13 - 05/20 6:00 - 7:00 pm $180/$216 FOOTBALL FUNDAMENTALS (Ages 7-10) This program has everything an athlete needs to improve confidence and productivity on the field. Athletes will develop good habits, efficient decision-making, and the skills and athleticism necessary to make big plays for their team. Code Day Date Time R/NR Fee 101125-01 Tu 04/14 - 05/19 7:00 - 8:00 pm $100/$120 TEENAGE SPORT PERFORMANCE (Ages 11-14) Trainers teach athletes how to train for personal and athletic goals, while also improving their health. In this program, athletes will get bigger, faster, and stronger while learning the training concepts derived from foundational principles of physical therapy. Code Day Date Time R/NR Fee 101123-01 M, W 04/13 - 05/20 7:00 - 8:00 pm $180/$216 MLB PITCH HIT & RUN (Ages 7-12) Major League Baseball Pitch Hit & Run (PHR) is a free event that creates a fun environment for kids to stay active and learn or continue to play baseball and softball in their local communities. Participation gives athletes a chance to compete and earn a spot in a team championship and advance to the finals. Pitch Hit & Run consists of a series of movements and are then tested on their individual skills in each movement earning a cumulative score at the end of the competition. Based on their scores, athletes can advance from a local competition to a team championship and then to the finals, which is held in conjunction with the MLB World Series. The rainout date for this event is April 17.
