SOFTBALL
FALL YOUTH GIRLS SOFTBALL LEAGUE
(Grades 3-8)
The Lombard Park District offers an extensive youth softball program including instruction for all ages and skill levels. The primary goal is to create an opportunity for
fundamental skills development in a positive and fun environment for every player. Coaches will determine all practice times. The Park District reserves the right to
combine age levels if necessary. This league may co-op with other park districts at certain levels if necessary. Levels are determined by grade as of the 2026-2027 school
year. Please note: registration received after June 9 may result in your child not being placed with a preferred classmate/friend or coach.

T-BALL
INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE
(Ages 4-6)
Youth t-ball introduces basic baseball rules and sportsmanship along with teaching the necessary baseball fundamentals of base running, hitting, and fielding to your
little athlete. The program begins with three weeks of instruction in a practice setting followed by three weeks of games (07/06 - 07/23). Games are 50 minutes and can
be played at 5:30 or 6:30 pm regardless of which time slot participants registered. All participants will receive a t-shirt and hat prior to the start of games. Fridays will be
used for rainouts. The program is taught by Park District staff, but parent involvement is encouraged for practices and games. Please note: this is a very beginner level
program, where basic fundamentals are taught. Full details will be provided prior to the program's first day. Required items: baseball glove and water bottle.
