(Ages 2-3) This program is an opportunity for parents to participate with their child while improving simple motor skills such as catching, throwing, batting, shooting, passing, running, and helps in developing hand-eye coordination. (Ages 3-6) A fun way to keep kids active and work on balance, motor skills, and hand-eye coordination, all while learning baseball, football, floor hockey, soccer, basketball, and more. Each week focuses on a new sport—learning the rules and working on mechanics of the sport while playing games. Our foundation technique focuses on basic mechanics to build confidence then adding larger challenges as we progress. We will work on dribbling with each hand, passing and shooting technique, and understanding basic offense and defense. Our second goal is to strive for the kids to develop confidence and believe in themselves, which will help them see that they can succeed in whatever they try. Participants will also learn how to be part of a team and work well with others. These learned skills will carry on with them throughout their lives.
