DRIVERS SAFETY PROGRAM (Ages 55+) The AARP Smart Driver course teaches valuable defensive driving strategies and provides a refresher of the rules of the road. Since 1979, the course has helped more than 15 million drivers learn research- based tips to adapt their driving to compensate for physical and cognitive changes that may occur with aging. Plus, you may qualify for a multi-year automobile insurance discount by completing the course (check with your auto insurance agent for details). This gathering brings together community members who want to share their ideas, interests, and perspectives to help shape future recreation programs, day trips, special events, and social or hobby-based interest groups. Participants will meet to suggest new offerings, provide feedback on existing programs, and help ensure our active adult opportunities are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with the interests of our community. Whether you're passionate about travel, lifelong learning, wellness, creative hobbies, or social connections, your voice can help guide what comes next.
