POMS COMPETITION SQUAD
(Ages 5-14)
Calling all dancers! The Lombard Poms Team is looking for energetic & talented
kids who would love to dance, learn, and perform as a team while making new
friends. The Poms program consists of three competitive pom levels: Minis -
Ages 5-8(Grades K-2nd), Juniors - Ages 9-11(Grades 3-5), and Seniors - Ages
12-14(Grades 6-8). The team will learn skills such as kicks, turns, and jumps, and
then use what they learned to develop a routine. From March-May, the team will
compete against other park districts in four meets, held on Sundays. Commitment
to the squad includes the purchase of team uniforms and poms (uniform will
change yearly), and weekly attendance at practices on Monday nights. Parents
will receive a Parent Handbook the first day of practice.

INSPIRE DANCE TEAM
(Ages 8-14)
Join the award winning Inspire Dance Team! The team competes in local
competitions in the spring on Sundays, as well as performing in the annual dance
recital. Each team will practice their routine once a week. Team members are
encouraged to participate in a Lombard Park District dance class or on multiple
teams to refine their technique. In addition to weekly practices, commitment to
the team includes the purchase of one costume and warm up jacket. A Team
Handbook will be distributed at the first practice.

FALL FUN - BALLET & CREATIVE MOVEMENT
Explore and learn about ballet dance with a fun fall flair! Use creative movement to
imagine dancing through a pumpkin patch.
