YOUTH POTTERY
(Ages 7-10)
Youth hand-building introduces children to clay through projects using
foundational hand-building methods such as pinch, coil, slab and sculpture
construction. Students gain practical knowledge of the ceramic process - from
forming to finishing - while creating 3-4 original works. Creative expression is
emphasized in every project.

YOUTH POTTERY WHEEL
(Ages 7-10)
Learn to use the potter's wheel. Students will be introduced to fundamentals of
attaching, centering, throwing, and trimming. Students will choose from a wide
variety of glazes to finish their pieces.

In this three-week workshop, students will create a snowman sculpture dressed in
a scarf and hat, pulling along a sled, with an emphasis on whimsy and personality.

DRAWING ADVENTURES
