THE CLASSY & CONFIDENT
KIDS' ACADEMY

and everyday etiquette lessons to children. Sessions are designed to
complement the efforts and good examples of parents when teaching
proper manners to their youngsters. Sessions are fun and interactive to
fully engage students and reinforce concepts being taught.
MAKING GOOD FIRST IMPRESSIONS,
INTROS & THANK YOU NOTES
(Ages 6-12)
As the old saying goes, "You have only one chance to make a good first
impression." This session is designed to instill the importance of good
manners when being introduced to people for the first time. Children will
learn how to introduce themselves and others and stay engaged through
role playing scenarios. Further, youngsters are taught the basic guidelines
of writing thank you notes as a means of showing someone they are
appreciated. They'll practice with supplies such as cards, markers, pens,
and stickers. Students take home a handout of information presented in
class.

TAMING MEAL TIME MONSTERS AND
PROPER DINING SKILLS

Children in this class first learn how to appropriately act during
mealtime by getting rid of the Table Monsters. For example, no more
SlobberGobbleRex, who talks through dinner with food flying. Kids have
fun relating to the various creatures, and they work to identify desired
mealtime behaviors. Then-using actual food, linens, china, crystal, and
various utensils-youngsters learn proper dining skills. A handout, filled
with content presented in class, is given to each child and is perfect as a
handy reference tool. Please share any dietary allergies and/or restrictions
at time of registration.

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!
(Ages 7-11)
What's the next adventure for Spiderman? You decide! We will create our
own Spiderman™ movie using special movie making cameras and software.
As directors and producers we will work in teams to create our own story
and script, build scenes out of Lego®, use Spiderman mini figures as
characters and film our own movie. We will use graphic editing techniques
and stop motion animation, add background noise and music, and show
our movie at a private screening on the last day of class. Have your final
movie posted on the COMPUTER EXPLORERS YouTube channel to be
viewed by friends and family near and far. No refunds after first class.
