DRIVER'S SAFETY PROGRAM
(Ages 55 +)
The AARP 55 Alive/Driver Safety Program course is a classroom refresher
and trainer designed for all motorists over age 50. It covers age-related
physical changes, overcoming the effects of aging on driving skills, rules
of the road and accident prevention. Completion of the course enables
older adults to reduce their auto insurance rates. Renew every 3 years to
maintain the reduced rates. Participants must attend both days of the
program.

SIGN LANGUAGE
(Ages 13 +)
Knowing your ABC's is one thing, but did you ever wonder how to sign
them? This is your opportunity to not only learn sign language, but to
communicate with it. This introductory course will teach basic signs and
phrases like "good job" or "you're welcome." Join us as a certified deaf
education instructor teaches how to communicate with someone who is
deaf or hard-of-hearing.

Haven't you always wanted to learn this beautiful writing? Your instructor
with 20 years experience teaching calligraphy has designed a basic course
using dip pen and ink. Students will learn the classic 15th Century Italic
alphabet, together with design application, photocopy techniques, and
special projects like greeting cards and poems. Supplies can be purchased
from instructor on the first night of class for $12

CREATE DESIGNER PERFUME
(Ages 18 +)
Having trouble finding your perfect fragrance? Why don't you create
your own designer fragrance the exact same way celebrities do? During
this one-evening workshop, you'll learn the fascinating history of perfume,
discover how musical metaphors make up each fragrance accord, and gain
a working knowledge of fragrance composition and chemistry including
the important differences between perfume, eau de toilette, and cologne.
Using a fabulous selection of 98 different scents, Instructors Sara Kirkby
and Steve Hoselton, owners of Fashion Your Fragrance, will guide you in
combining them and producing your own custom fragrance recipe. You'll
go home with a ¼ ounce spray of your own custom fragrance.
