A Tabata workout is an interval training cycle of maximum intensity exercise followed by short periods of rest-Plus this class manipulates time, reps and volume to keep you moving. This high-intensity intermittent training helps you produce maximum results in minimum time. Abdominal, lower back, glute and thigh muscles are the main areas targeted by Pilates training. Considered a "no sweat" workout, Pilates aims to offer a revitalizing, not exhausting, workout. This innovative program is composed of 21 simple tools for lifelong comfort and ease. We lubricate our joints, strengthen our muscles, exercise our brains, and improve our flexibility, hand-eye coordination, breath, balance and tickle our funny bones! We practice barefoot to improve the flexibility and strength in our feet (or wear your favorite socks). Come and experience movement as you did when you were a kid and feel younger with every workout. It's never too late to begin. People of most ages and abilities can participate. Kids, bring your parent or grandparent to play as you exercise your brain and body and tickle your funny bone! We'll be playing Team Fit and acting our different sports. In Spelling 'B' we'll spell works in the air with different parts of our bodies. We us our breath in fun ways when we BREATH Out Loud. Our spines get some good attention with Spaghetti Spine. Give your brain a workout with Body Math and Gentle Geometry. Take off your shoes when you come in so we can give those feet a good workout too! Children will have to be able to sit in a chair for a 45 minute class.
