CHEERLEADING CAMP
(Ages 5-13)
Girls should wear their biggest smiles, warm-up their loudest voices and
get ready for a R-O-W-D-I-E time at this camp, which includes instruction
in basic cheers, jumps and stunts. Participants should wear gym shoes and
loose-fitting clothes and will receive a t-shirt.

(Ages 7-14)
Learn to run, throw, defend and compete the Chicago Bears way!
Non-Contact Football Skills for Kids 6-14 lead by professional
coaches and educators. Supplemental instruction from Chicago
Bears heroes like Kris Haines, Al Harris, Jim Morrissey, Jim Thornton and
Adrian Peterson. Featuring Heads Up Football Curriculum courtesy of
USA Football. Age appropriate, station-based training for both advanced
players and newcomers. For football instruction, athletic skill development,
fitness, agility training and fun! Skill contests, tournament action, awards
and prizes, Comprehensive Skills for Newcomers / Accelerated Skills for
Experienced Players kids gain confidence, develop skills and have a blast!

Slam-dunk yourself some fun in this innovative basketball camp
experience under the direction of Westlake Middle School Coaches.
Campers will be instructed in all aspects of the game including, dribbling,
shooting, passing and team tactics.

ICE SKATING
(Ages 3-Adult)
Center Ice Skating School in Glen Ellyn offers a comprehensive system of
ice skating instruction for all ages and ability levels. Participants registering
through the Park District receive discounted lessons. Hockey skates and
hockey helmet are required. Hockey stick optional. For more information,

TOTS: Progressive levels 1-4 providing ages 3 and 4 with ice orientation,
balance, agility, and fun.
PRE-ALPHA: This class is intended for ages 5-13 with no previous formal
instruction. Participants will learn 1 & 2 foot glides, forward & backward
Swizzles and the backward wiggle.
TEEN / ADULT BASICS: This class is for participants ages 14 & up and will
be tailored to individual needs.
HOCKEY TOT 1: Participants ages 3-4 will learn ice coordination, balance,
and agility in a fun atmosphere while wearing hockey equipment. Hockey
skates and hockey helmet required.
HOCKEY ALPHA 1: Participants ages 5-13 with no previous formal
instruction will learn basic forward and backward skating while wearing
hockey equipment.
