LYRICAL CONTEMPORARY
(Ages 8-13)
This class will consist of a blend of jazz, ballet, and modern as well as
broadening technique and performance skills. Class will include elements
such as freedom of expression, interpretation of music, principles of fall
and recovery, control, breathing and balance.

STRETCH & STRENGTH
(Ages 8-16)
In this class we will focus on stretching to increase your flexibility and
strengthening exercises to help improve your technique. We will work
on the barre as well as across the floor combinations. Appropriate dance
attire is required. No jeans, sweatpants or baggy clothes. Jazz or ballet
shoes required.

DANCE INTENSIVE CAMP
(Ages 6-15)
All levels of dance are welcome to join the new Dance Intensive Camp.
Dancers will spend each day in three different dance classes. They will
be split into two age groups dependent on enrollment. Focus will be on
the technique and choreography of six different styles of dance including
Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet/Lyrical, Tap, and Pom/Jazz. Choreography
classes will be included letting the students experience and explore the
art of dance by learning to choreograph their own routines! Students
will also learn new stretching routines to increase flexibility. Join us for a
performance on the last day of camp so the dancers can show off what
they have learned! Please bring a water bottle and snack to camp each day.

ADULT SOFTBALL

League play for the Park District's adult fall softball leagues begins the
week of August 17. Note that five or more nonresidents constitute a
nonresident team. Teams claiming resident status will need to provide
proof of residency (copy of driver's license) for all players. Teams may pick

CHICAGO FIRE GAME
Come out to Toyota Park for a Major League Soccer match on August
30 to watch the Chicago Fire take on FC Dallas. On this special night, all
Lombard Park District family and friends have the opportunity to purchase
