SPECIAL
EVENTS
(All Ages!)
Are you interested in community beautiļ¬cation, need to acquire some volunteer
hours or would just like to get your hands in the dirt? Why not get a group together
this season and Adopt-a-Park. Families, community groups and local businesses
are welcome to take part in this program. Your commitment would be one day a
month (AprilāNovember) to come out to your park and help clean up any trash or
debris. Your group would also note any repairs or gardening that our park staff can
tend to. T-shirts, cleaning supplies and a sign placed in the park recognizing your
group will be provided. For more information about this pilot program, contact
Meri Niehaus at (630) 620-7322.
