TAP DANCE
(Ages 18 +)
Can you shuffle hop step? Shuffle off to Buffalo and a time step break?
Do you like to tap? Then this is the class for you! A little rusty? It won't
take long before you amaze yourself! Beginners and continuing students
are welcome. A great way to get into shape!

Your preschooler will use imagination in this movement and dance class
that also includes plenty of game playing to keep them interested. Ballet

DANCE
POMS SQUAD COMPETITIVE TEAM
(Ages 5-17)
Calling all dancers! The Lombard Poms Team is looking for energetic & talented
kids who'd love to dance, learn, and perform as a team while making new friends.
The Poms program consists of 3 competitive pom levels: Ages 5-8, Ages 9-11, and
Ages 12-17. Depending on enrollment, there may be more than one team formed
at some of the age levels. The team will learn skills such as kicks, turns, and jumps,
and then use what they learned to develop a routine. From February-April, the
team will compete against other park districts in 3-4 meets, held on weekends. The
season ends with a final performance at Kids Day in Lilacia Park, participation in the
Lilac Day Parade, and a team banquet in May. Commitment to the squad includes
the purchase of team uniforms and poms, and weekly attendance at practices on
Monday nights. The first session is a 4-week session, designed to give your child
a sneak peak at the Poms Team before committing to the full season that runs
through May. Come check out the free introductory practice the first week of the
season (registration required).

Parents and participants who are interested in finding out more about the
program and meeting Head Coach Lauren are strongly encouraged to attend the
Information Session.

FAIRY PRINCESS DANCE

Learn to dance like a Fairy Princess in this dance class! We will incorporate Pre
Ballet and Creative Movement techniques as we dance to our favorite Princess
music. In no time we will transform into one of our favorite princesses! Children
