FAMILY EVENTS
RC BOAT REGATTA
(All ages!)
Show off your remote controlled Boat at Paradise Bay! Enter into one of
three categories; most patriotic, most lights or best theme! Children and
adults alike have the chance to show off their creative skill with their boats
in our 25 yard Dolphin Cove lap pool. Participants will be judged in two age
groups, under 15 yrs and over 15 yrs, by a panel of judges. All awards will be
presented at the end of the evening. Deadline to register is
Friday, August 9th.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
(All ages!)
Come and join the Lombard Police and, Fire Departments, and the Lombard
Park District for a fun night supporting National Night Out with Target as the
national sponsor for this event. There will be demonstrations, giveaways, and
important information handed out regarding safety. National Night Out will
be held at Paradise Bay Water Park and admission to the water park is free!

LUNCH WITH THE LIFEGUARDS
(All ages)
Come hang out with your favorite lifeguard! Spend time enjoying a swim at
Paradise Bay, pizza lunch and some serious time with the lifeguards. Learn
the safety aspects of their job and play some water games.

ADULT EVENTS
NIGHT IN PARADISE
(Ages 18 and up)
Enjoy a quiet night out with your special partner or close friends. Soft music
will be provided, along with Italian cuisine, checkered cloths and gelato.
Dinner will be served at 7:00 pm. Enjoy the atmosphere by the water and
feel free to take a swim. Registration deadline is 8/9.

TOT EVENTS
PIRATE PARTY
(Ages 3–5 with an adult)
Children will play pirate games and hunt for gold coins on the grass. Please
bring a bucket or bag from home to carry the coins. Children will wrap up
the pirate adventure by purchasing prizes from the Pirate General Store
with their coins. Children are encouraged to dress as pirates and enjoy the
adventure! Registration deadline is 8/13.

EARLY CHILDHOOD
AFTERNOON ADVENTURES
(Ages 6–10)
Register now for this program that has the kids smiling and you relaxing.
Children will love the exciting events, while you enjoy an hour and a half
to yourself. Let us have fun with your child in an organized and supervised
program that offers games, crafts and adventures. A snack will be provided.
Deadline to register is one week prior to event.

SWIM CAMP
(Grades 1–12)
This will be a great opportunity to improve swimming skills for both
the novice and the team swimmer. Join the Waves and work on stroke
development, put some polish on your flip turns or just enjoy the water.
Each swimmer will work to improve their skills at their own level. Activities
will include: conditioning, skills training, individual instruction as well as fun
activities including dive well and the water slides. Swimmers will be broken
down into small groups by age to best facilitate learning. Each swimmer
should bring a healthy snack each day for a mid-morning energy pick up.

HIGH SCHOOL
DROP-IN WATER VOLLEYBALL
(Grades 9–12)
Gather your friends and come join us for an evening of volleyball. Two courts
of play make it possible for everyone to get in the game. Staff will join to fill
the teams if needed.
