YOUTH ATHLETICS
THE MILLER'S BASKETBALL SKILLS CLINIC
(Ages 6-12)
This is a high paced coed clinic for the advanced player who is looking to take
their game to the next level. Learn skills and perform drills that enabled Zach
Miller to earn a Division 1 scholarship. He will lead players through a series
of drills designed to help them perform at the highest level. His father Scott
Miller, the Head Coach at Glenbard East, will assist him. He brings 28 years of
experience and is an eight time Coach of the Year Award Winner. There will
be one Tuesday date on May 26 in place of Monday, May 25.

SPRING BASKETBALL
(Grades 7-8)
Attention basketball players! We are offering a new opportunity for you to
continue playing basketball into the spring and summer. The Chicago Bulls/
Sox Training Academy offers a league for teams in the surrounding area, and
the Lombard Park District will be entering a team this season! Each team will
practice at least 90 minutes per week at Pleasant Lane School in Lombard
starting in mid-April. Games are in Lisle on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
between May 1 and June 14. Please note this is a travel league and there are
no playing time guarantees. Teams will have between 8-12 players, so there is
a possibility that some players may be cut. Experienced coaches are needed,
so please contact Nathan at (630) 620-7322 if you are interested in coaching
a team. All participants MUST attend tryouts on April 3 from 6:00-7:30 pm at
Pleasant Lane School.

LITTLE KICKERS SOCCER
(Age 3)
Is your little soccer enthusiast not quite old enough for the Spring Youth
Soccer League? Little Kickers will allow them to experience the thrill of soccer!
This class will focus primarily on age-appropriate games to help acclimate
your young one to soccer and teach them the basics. Many of the activities
will involve both the child and parent. All participants will receive a t-shirt.
Class will be taught by experienced instructors. A parent must be present for
this activity. Required items: comfortable clothes, water bottle, parent, and
soccer ball (optional).

MINI SOCCER
(Ages 4-6)
This class is a great introduction to the sport of soccer. Basic soccer skills such
as running, kicking, passing, and game play will be covered. Games will be used
to incorporate the skills taught during class in a fun and safe environment.

AFTER SCHOOL BASKETBALL CAMP
(Ages 6-11)
Come out and play as we have fun learning the fundamentals of the game
with unique drills, games, and contests that will keep you active and sharpen
your basketball skills. This program will blend the perfect amount of organized
games and fun activities that are productive, positive, and fun!
