YOUTH ATHLETICS
FLAG FOOTBALL
(Ages 6-9)
This co-recreational program gives your child an excellent opportunity to
learn the basic skills of football including throwing, catching and blocking in a
safe environment. Participants will learn the basics and play scrimmage games
on Saturday afternoons. Each participant will be given a team t-shirt. Ages will
be combined if minimums are not met. Volunteer coaches are encouraged to
apply ASAP to assist staff.

PEE WEE FLOOR HOCKEY
(Ages 4-6)
Does your child love the Blackhawks? This class will help your child learn the
game of hockey before the skates go on. Drills for stick handling, passing,
shooting, and goalie skills as well as team drills will be demonstrated in this
class. Your child will enjoy learning the fundamentals and mechanics of this
fast-paced and super-fun game.

YOUTH FLOOR HOCKEY
(Ages 7-10)
Check out a one-of-a-kind indoor game that involves the fast pace of real
hockey but on a solid surface. Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals and
mechanics of floor hockey. The program will include stick handling, passing
and shooting, as well as team drills. Games will be played to reinforce these
skills.

YOUTH GOLF

Learn the basics of golf using colorful age-appropriate equipment. Putting,
chipping and tee work are mixed in with easy instruction for proper form.

VOLLEYBALL SKILLS & DRILLS
(Ages 3-8)
Improve your volleyball skills in setting, passing, overhand serving, and
spiking. The program includes an evaluation of each student, as well as a
youth volleyball rating. Organized games will be held at the end of each class.
Grade levels may be combined based on enrollment numbers.

INTRO TO ARCHERY PARENT/CHILD
(Ages 6-14)
Learn the fun and unique pastime of archery in an extremely safe environment.
Participants will learn the parts of an arrow and recurve bow, the basics of
using a recurve bow, and fundamental shooting skills. They also will learn an
excellent, nationally recognized beginner's 9-step to the ten ring progression
which was created by the Coaches Development Committee of the National
Archery Association. Blunt tipped arrows, bows, and targets are provided.
A mix of technique and games will be a part of this class. Registration fee
includes both the parent and the child. The parent's primary role is to help
their child learn, while also getting to participate in the activity. Additional
siblings participating with the same parent may register for $65R/$75NR.
