Get ready for your wedding or someone else's and be able to join in the fun! Learn the waltz, fox trot, swing, and more! In this class we will learn the techniques of Street Dance. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes. The instructor reserves the right to place each participant according to his/her level. Participants should bring pom pons to class and wear jazz shoes. No jeans, dresses, sandals, or street shoes are allowed. All dancers must wear dance shoes to class, black jazz shoes required for all hip hop, pom dance, and jazz classes, black tap shoes are required for tap classes, and white or pink ballet shoes are required for all ballet, pre ballet, and lyrical contemporary classes. LYRICAL CONTEMPORARY (Ages 8-13) This class will consist of a blend of jazz, ballet, and modern as well as broadening technique and performance skills. Class will include elements such as freedom of expression, interpretation of music, principles of fall and recovery, control, breathing, and balance.
