TEAM SKATEBOARD LESSONS
(Ages 5-7)
This class is appropriate for beginning and intermediate levels. Beginners will
learn how to start, stop, and turn, basic ramp riding, and tricks. Intermediate
skaters learn skills-based ability. Skaters must bring a drink and wear a helmet.
Knee, elbow, and wrist guards are strongly encouraged. Please email instructor
about a correct skateboard for this class: fpteamskateboard@yahoo.com.

BABYSITTING TRAINING
(Ages 11+)
Learn about all the responsibilities of being a good babysitter and what to
expect from the person who hires you. Training will be provided in safety, safe
play, basic care, first aid, leadership, and professionalism. A safety and first aid
kit is available from the instructor for $14.

HOME ALONE
(Ages 7-12)
Educate your loved ones and register for this class that will give children helpful
tips and confidence if they find themselves home alone! This American Red
Cross course teaches skills that children should know if they find themselves
alone (i.e.: answering phones, doors, etc.) Register early; space is limited.

MARVELOUS MAGIC
(Ages 5-12)
Children are guaranteed to have a great time as they learn a collection of
fascinating and mesmerizing tricks. Amaze family and friends with tricks
that involve cards, ropes, coins, mind reading, and more. While the tricks
may appear difficult, you'll discover that they are quick to learn and easy to
perform. All materials are provided and each child receives a magic kit to take
home. Children are grouped by age and learn tricks that are age appropriate.
New tricks are taught each session.

SIGN LANGUAGE
(Ages 13+)
Knowing your ABC's is one thing, but did you ever wonder how to sign them? This
is your opportunity to not only learn sign language, but to communicate with it.
Beginner: This introductory course will teach basic signs and phrases like
"good job" or "you're welcome." Join us as a certified deaf education instructor
teaches how to communicate with someone who is deaf or hard-of-hearing.
Intermediate: Take your sign language abilities to a new level! If you want
to increase your vocabulary by learning conversational skills and complex
sentences, then don't miss out as a certified deaf education instructor takes
you beyond the basics of sign language.

ROCK & ROLL ROBOTICS
(Ages 8-12)
Create robots that rock and robots that roll! Using the LEGO™ WeDo Robotics
System, your robots will include a monkey who plays a drum to a rock & roll
beat, a lion that roars, a bird that flaps its wings to create a big wind, a sleeping
giant who will awaken on your command, and a boat that will rock on the
rough seas. This course builds knowledge of simple machines, engineering,
programming, and teamwork in an environment full of rockin' fun! Students
will work in teams of two. No refunds will be issued after the first class.

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION—MAKING A
STAR WARS MOVIE!
(Ages 7-11)
Do you want to be the next George Lucas? We will create our own Star Wars
movie using special movie making cameras and software. We will work in
teams of directors and producers to create our own story and script, build
scenes out of Star Wars®, use various Star Wars mini figures as characters,
and film our own movie. We will use graphic editing techniques and stop
motion animation, add background noise and music, and show our movie at a
private screening on the last day of class. Have your final movie posted on the
Computer Explorers YouTube channel to be viewed by friends and family near
and far. No refunds after first class.
