COLORED PENCIL
(Ages 16+)
Learn to color your drawings using colored pencils. Basic colored pencil
techniques will be introduced, including layering, color theory, and blending
as well as issues such as brands, paper choice, and subject matter will be
discussed. Students are encouraged to come to class with proposed projects
and questions! All student levels are encouraged!

WATERCOLOR PAINTING
BOTANICALS
(Ages 18+)
Each week students will be given a different type of flower to paint in
watercolors. We will explore different techniques (i.e. wet on wet vs. wet on
dry, and use of salt) as well as delve into art theory (i.e. color theory and
composition). Students are to bring their own paint brushes - at least 3
different sizes are recommended, and a natural sponge. All other materials
will be provided.

AIR DRY CLAY SCULPTING
(Ages 18+)
Students will mold 8 ounces of soft, air-dry clay. The first and third classes will
be spent sculpting the pieces, and the second and fourth classes will be used
to paint the dried creations with acrylics. Students are encouraged to purchase
acrylic brushes. All other materials will be provided.

CHARACTER DRAWING 101
(Ages 13+)
Students will learn how to develop characters into finished drawings using
colored pencil, technical pen, brush pen, and watercolor on Bristol Board. Skill

CREATING COMIC BOOKS

ADULT POTTERY WHEEL
(Ages 16+)
Learn to use the pottery wheel to create your own projects! Students will learn
how to center, raise, open, and pull in order to create a variety of pieces with
special glazing techniques to help bring their creations to life. All skill levels
welcome! Space is limited. The last class of each session is dedicated to pick-
up pieces and artwork.

CLAY AND GLASS
(Ages 16+)
This course introduces basic hand building techniques with the exciting
addition of special glazing techniques combined with stained glass to create
one of a kind artistic creations. Projects will range from tiles to sculptures
with opportunities to create self-guided projects utilizing the technique of
combining clay and glass.
