Yes, We CAN learn about Robotics! With the LEGO™ WeDo Robotics System,
young children can build and program their own robotic creations. Designed
by the experts at MIT, this unique system teaches children about simple
machines, engineering, programming and so much more. Young imaginations

VIDEO GAME ANIMATION
(Ages 8-12)
Dive into the world of video game animation by creating characters that
dance, sing and interact with one another. Working in teams, you'll sound
effects and music clips to create a dynamic video animation game by using
software created just for kids. Creativity rules in this fun version of video game
design! Receive a copy of software and your game after class is complete. No

MAGIC AND THE BRAIN
(Ages 9-12)
Join this fun class as participants jump into the shoes as a brain surgeon! We
will learn about the brain by dissecting a brain made of gelatin. We will also
learn the importance of wearing a bicycle helmet and how you need your brain
to solve magic tricks! Participants will be the brainiest kids in their class!

ROCK & ROLL ROBOTICS
(Ages 8-12)
Create robots that rock and robots that roll! Using the LEGO™ WeDo Robotics
System your robots will include a monkey who plays a drum to a rock & roll
beat, a lion that roars, a bird that flaps its wings to create a big wind, a sleeping
giant who will awaken on your command, and a boat that will rock on the
rough seas. This course builds knowledge of simple machines, engineering,
programming, and teamwork in an environment full of rockin' fun! Students
will work in teams of two. No refunds will be issued after the first class.

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!
(Ages 7-12)
Create your own adventure for Harry Potter, Ron and Hermione! You will
create your own Harry Potter™ movie using special movie making cameras
and software. As directors and producers you will work in teams to create your
own story and script, use Lego® Harry Potter mini figures as characters, draw
your own backgrounds and film your own movie. You will use graphic editing
techniques and stop motion animation, add background noise and music, and
show your movie at a private screening on the last day of class. All students
will get a copy of their movie after class is complete. No refunds will be issued
after the first class.

SIGN LANGUAGE
(Ages 13+)
Knowing your ABC's is one thing, but did you ever wonder how to sign them? This
is your opportunity to not only learn sign language, but to communicate with it.
Beginner: This introductory course will teach basic signs and phrases like
"good job" or "you're welcome." Join us as a certified deaf education instructor
teaches how to communicate with someone who is deaf or hard-of-hearing.
Intermediate: Take your sign language abilities to a new level! If you want
to increase your vocabulary by learning conversational skills and complex
sentences, then don't miss out as a certified deaf education instructor takes
you beyond the basics of sign language.
