(Ages 55 +)
Learn to color your drawings using colored pencils. Basic colored pencil
techniques will be introduced, including layering, color theory, and blending as
well as issues such as brands, paper choice, and subject matter will be discussed.
Students are encouraged to come to class with proposed projects and questions!
All student levels are encouraged!

CARTOONING WITH A CARTOONIST
(Ages 13 +)
Do you have cartoon characters you have been drawing and want to create
more? Or maybe you have an idea for characters but don't know how to put
them on paper? This class will help you do both! Students will learn the basics for
drawing people, animals, creatures, monsters, and inanimate objects. Beginners
are welcome! Skill level is beginner to intermediate. Supplies included.

CALLIGRAPHY
(Ages 16 +)
Haven't you always wanted to learn this beautiful writing? Your instructor has
20 years of experience teaching calligraphy and has designed a basic course
using dip pen and ink. Students will learn the classic 15th Century Italic alphabet,
together with design application, photocopy techniques, and special projects
like greeting cards and poems. Supplies can be purchased from the instructor on
the first night of class for $12.
