PARKS RECREATION + The Lombard Park District promotes community by creating an environment where the residents of Lombard enjoy where they live, work, and play. The District promotes giving by providing avenues of donation to the local food pantry such as the Mutt Strut 5K and Trick-or-Treat Food Drive. The District also promotes social interactions within the community and lending a helping hand by o•ering volunteer opportunities at special events. STRENGTHENS THE COMMUNITY FOR YOU TO enjoy life 57 LiNiTo CYCLE: BASIC BICYCLE REPAIR & MAINTENANCE (Ages 16 +) You are invited to join LiNiTo Cycle for a basic repair and maintenance how-to session to prepare your bicycle for riding season. LiNiTo Cycle will be providing a hands-on program about basic bicycle maintenance, demonstrating simple repairs that can be done at home, and providing tips for year-round care. You will be able to get up close and personal to see a bicycle in motion while you have your safety and maintenance questions answered. LiNiTo will also be happy to address your top challenges and concerns while looking over your bicycle. Space is limited and registrations is required, so sign up now! Don't forget to bring your bicycle with you. Instructor: LiNiTo Cycle, Tom Sawczuk Location: Lombard Community Building Code Day Date Time R/NR Fee 106405-01 Sa 04/09 10:00 am - 1:00 pm $10/$15 WAKE UP CALL (Ages 15 +) Monday - Cardio Strength Interval. Join us for a total body workout. This class will incorporate a cardiovascular workout with interval, resistance, and strength training. Abdonimals will also be targeted. This class is suitable for all fitness levels. You will burn fat, build endurance, define & strengthen your muscles. Bring a yoga mat to class. Wednesday - Cardio and Core with Ball. Improve muscle strength, flexibility, balance, and focus with the use of a stability ball. Perform a wide variety of movements and exercises to improve your core strength and cardiovascular endurance. The Ball, is also very effective for stretching and strengthening the core muscles. Please bring stability ball and yoga mat.
