Summer 2016 Activity Guide | 15 HIGH SCHOOL DROP-IN WATER BASKETBALL (Grades 9-12) Gather your friends and come join us for an evening of basketball. Two half court games or one full court game of play make it possible for everyone to get in the game. Staff will join to fill the teams if needed. Location: Paradise Bay Water Park Fee: Passholders: $2 per night; Non-passholders: $9 per night Code Day Date Time Drop-in M 06/06 - 07/11 8:30-9:30 pm SUMMER SWIM SOIRÉE (Entering grades 6-9) Check out our weekly teen nights every Thursday night at Paradise Bay. While you're swimming and dancing the night away, don't forget about the weekly raffles and pool games for cool prizes. These events are open to all area Middle School age youth. Concessions are available, so bring extra money for snacks! Parent/guardian signature is required for admission to Summer Swim Soirée. Cash only. Bring school ID. Fee: Passholders: $3 per night; Non-passholders: $5 per night Location: Paradise Bay Water Park Day Dates Time Th 06/09 - 08/04 8:00-10:00 pm JUNIOR LIFEGUARD (Ages 10-15) This class is designed for all those future lifeguards who can't wait to begin learning their guarding skills. To participate in this class you must be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards) and be willing to work on going to the bottom of the diving well. Participants will spend each day learning a new aspect of lifeguarding, including: surface and deep water rescues, Heimlich in the water, rescue breathing, CPR, first aid, and proper scanning techniques. Participants will have some practical experience working with an on-duty lifeguard.
