Summer 2016 Activity Guide | 23 TEEN CAMP (Ages 12-14) Calling all-area pre-teens and teens! If you are looking for fun in the sun, Summer Teen Camp is for you! Teen Camp has taken daily trips to such places as Paradise Bay Water Park, ice skating rinks, pizza parlors, Chicago's beaches, Navy Pier and miniature golf courses to name a few! When we are not out taking in all the fun and sun, we can relax and enjoy ourselves by playing billiards, watching movies, creating new art projects, or enjoying some free time playing the Wii in the teen room in the Lombard Community Building. Energy, patience, and a cooperative attitude is crucial since you will be a part of enriching the lives of every child who attends summer camp! Interested CIT candidates must complete the CIT application found at www.lombardparks. com two weeks prior to the start of the session. Staff will contact applicants to set up an interview prior to registration. CITs will be evaluated throughout this program and are expected to maintain a level of competence, communication, and cooperation. Note: Day Camp CITs attend and assist with field trips, pool days, and walking trips. Must fill out application and complete interview process before registration. Sign your camper up for one class or eight classes! Swim lessons are taught by a certified instructor and are strongly recommended if your camper has swimming limitations. After swim lessons are over, a counselor will pick up your camper and bring them to the Day Camp. Registration deadline for swim lessons is the Saturday before the class.
