Autumn 2016 Activity Guide | 37 SAFE KIDS FIRST AID (Ages 3-5) Safety and first aid go hand in hand! Children learn simple rules to think safely and make safe choices at home and away. We also present basic first aid information including the treatment of small cuts, bumps and bruises, nosebleeds, minor burns, and more. Each child receives a safety packet and creates a small first aid kit to take home. Completion certificates are awarded. We will touch, smell, see, hear, and even taste our colors, through stories, songs, art projects, sensory activities, games, and much more. A color themed light snack will be provided, focusing on a different color each week. Children must be toilet independent or in pull-ups. We will learn about kitchen safety, proper table manners and a chance to sample all of our creations. Each week we will add a page to your cookbook, that your will take home at the end of the session!
