LEARN ABOUT THE SUN
(Ages 3-6)
Based on Kathleen Grippo's poem, in this class we will look at a large picture of
the sun. We will talk about its color, where it is, how it feels, and what it does for
us. We will take a large paper with a yellow blob on it and participants will make
a picture out of it. We will also play Sunshine BINGO with objects mentioned
in this poem. At the end of class we will have a sun parade featuring yellow
balloons. Participants will take home their balloons and picture. Children must
be toilet independent or wear pull-ups.

ME AND MY GRANDPARENT(S)
(Ages 3-6)
Based on Kathleen Grippo's poem, participants will listen to the poem and talk
about their grandma, grandpa, care taker, adult, etc. Each participant will use
a microphone to interview their adult and ask questions such as: What is your
favorite color? What is your favorite food? Do you like to bake? Etc. Adults
will answer the questions using a scrapbook and then the participants will
decorate their scrapbook. Adult participation required. Children must be toilet
independent or wear pull-ups.

THE KID IN THE UNIVERSE
(Ages 3-6)
Based on Kathleen Grippo's poem, participants will learn what a solar system,
galaxy, and universe is, make a human solar system and draw a spaceship. We
will then have a scavenger hunt to find the objects in the poem: Stars, galaxies,
spaceships, and our planets. Finally we will fill in the pieces for a large universe
puzzle. Participants will take home their spaceship drawings. Children must be
toilet independent or wear pull-ups.

LEARN ABOUT RECYCLING
(Ages 3-6)
Based on Kathleen Grippo's poem, participants will learn what recycling is and
talk about ways that objects can be recycled. Participants will make hats out of
newspaper and invent a toy or game using objects that will be provided. Each
participant will demonstrate their invention and play games! Participants will be
able to take home their hat and inventions! Children must be toilet independent
or wear pull-ups.

KID ROCK
(20 mos-5 years with or without a parent)
SING familiar songs, DANCE to the beat, and PLAY with musical instruments like
maracas and tambourines! Combining imaginative play with sensory activities
and motor skills using movement props like a parachute, scarves and beanbags,
Kid Rock has provided a creative and energetic environment for children to
socialize and learn for over 21 years! Kid Rock is a structured educational music
program with an exciting new theme each session. Sing, dance and play our way!

MUSIC TOGETHER DECEMBER SING

Sing, dance, drum and jingle your way into the holiday spirit with a three-week
sing-a-long, fun for the whole family! Familiar songs and chants (and some new
ones, too!) are sure to enliven your December as you spend time with your
