30 DANCE DRESS CODE Appropriate dance attire is required for all dance classes. No jeans, dresses, sandals, or street shoes are allowed. All dancers must wear dance shoes to class, black jazz shoes are required for all hip hop and pom/jazz classes, black tap shoes are required for all tap classes, and white or pink ballet shoes are required for all pre-ballet, ballet, and lyrical/ contemporary classes. LYRICAL CONTEMPORARY (Ages 6-14) This class will consist of a blend of jazz, ballet, and modern as well as broadening technique and performance skills. Class will include elements such as freedom of expression, interpretation of music, principles of fall and recovery, control, breathing, and balance.
