DANCE DRESS CODE
Appropriate dance attire is required for all dance classes. No
jeans, dresses, sandals, or street shoes are allowed. All dancers must
wear dance shoes to class, black jazz shoes are required for all hip hop
and pom/jazz classes, black tap shoes are required for all tap classes, and
white or pink ballet shoes are required for all pre-ballet, ballet, and lyrical/
contemporary classes.
LYRICAL CONTEMPORARY
(Ages 6-14)
This class will consist of a blend of jazz, ballet, and modern as well as broadening
technique and performance skills. Class will include elements such as freedom
of expression, interpretation of music, principles of fall and recovery, control,
breathing, and balance.

PRE-BALLET

Children learn the basics of dance in this class, but the emphasis is on helping
each child develop his/her creativity and encouraging self-expression. Ballet
shoes required. Children must be toilet independent.

YOUTH BALLET
(Ages 5-9)
In this class, instructors make a classical art form both easy and fun. Children
learn the kind of fundamentals they'll need to progress in other forms of dance
in a class that combines barre work, centre work, foot work, and corner work.
