This course is the starting point for the family thinking about going to Walt
Disney World, Orlando, FL for the first time! Before you book your trip, take
this workshop to learn about the best times of the year to go, how to get there,
and where to stay. Get an overview of the Walt Disney World resorts and good
nearby hotels. We will discuss the Disney theme parks and tickets as well as
dining plan options. Handouts will be provided for each household.

MINIATURE GARDENS
(Ages 10-14 with a parent or 16 +)
Make something ordinary extraordinary! With just a few plants, a pebble stone
path and a little imagination, you can make your very own miniature fantasy
world. Chose from common miniature plants including foliage and succulent
varieties combined with a variety of surface materials (gravels, mulches, and
stepping stones) to create your ideal tiny wonderland. Indoor gardens are
perfect for anyone of any age. Please bring your own container (no larger than
12" diameter or shorter than 3" depth) along with your mini garden accessories
or curious charms and accoutrements from Fairies to animals to dinosaurs. Class
fee includes: Instruction, soil, gravel, three plants, surface materials, and after
care instructions.

If you're a senior looking to meet new friends or renew old acquaintances,
Lilac Town Seniors is the club for you! Founded in 1972 as a social
organization, Lilac Town Seniors consists primarily of Lombard residents
and always welcome new members. Monthly afternoon activities include
BINGO and refreshments. Dues are $3 per year and include the monthly
