While you're swimming and dancing the night away, don't forget about the weekly raffles and pool games for cool prizes. These events are open to all area Middle School age youth. Concessions are available, so bring extra money for snacks! Parent/guardian signature is required for admission to Teen Nights at the Pool. Cash only. Bring school ID. To participate in this class you must be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards) and be willing to work on going to the bottom of the diving well. Participants will spend each day learning a new aspect of lifeguarding, including: surface and deep water rescues, Heimlich in the water, rescue breathing, CPR, first aid, and proper scanning techniques. Participants will have some practical experience working with an on-duty lifeguard. Let us have fun with your child in an organized and supervised program that offers games, crafts, and adventures. A snack will be provided. Deadline to register is one week prior to event.
