All New Wave summer camps are coached by the professional coaching staff at New Wave Lacrosse and collegiate New Wave alumni! Rental equipment is available on-site at the camp. The program begins with three weeks of instruction in a practice setting followed by three weeks of games. Games are one hour and can be played at 5:30 or 6:30 pm regardless of which time slot participants registered for. All participants will receive a T-shirt and hat prior to the start of games and there will be a Family Fun Night at the end of the season for all participants. Fridays will be used for rainouts. The program is taught by Park District Staff, but parents are invited to help with instruction, so volunteer today by calling (630) 620-7322. Teen/Adult Basic can be found in the adult athletic section on page 33. Tots (ages 3-4): Providing progressive levels 1-4 with ice orientation, balance, agility, and fun. Hockey Tot (ages 3-4): Participants will learn coordination, balance, and agility while wearing hockey equipment. Hockey skates and hockey helmet required.
