FALL YOUTH BASKETBALL
(Grades 6-12)
Attention basketball players! We are offering an opportunity for you to continue
playing basketball into the fall. The Chicago Bulls/Sox Training Academy offers
a league for teams in the surrounding area, and the Lombard Park District will
be entering teams this season! Each team will practice at least 90 minutes per
week starting in mid-August. Teams will have between 8-15 players, so there
is a possibility that some players may be cut. Please note this is a travel league
and there are no playing time guarantees. Experienced coaches are needed,
so please contact Nathan at (630) 620-7322 if you are interested in coaching
a team. All participants MUST tryout on August 8. Please register for the
FREE tryout by using the codes below. The fees listed are only assessed to
participants who are selected to a team.

GIRLS LACROSSE CAMP
(Ages 5-14)
We are teaming up with the Illinois Girls Lacrosse Association (IGLA) and Glen
Ellyn Park District to offer girls the opportunity to play the fastest growing sport
in the US! Camps are run by an skilled staff, including women with competetive
experience. For questions about camp content, please email info@iglax.org.
Players will be divided by age and skill level. Equipment needed: Goggles, sticks
and mouth guards are required equipment. Sticks and goggles are available to
borrow at no charge; you will need to email info@iglax.org ahead of time. Find
more information about equipment at www.iglax.org under the "Get Ready to
Play" tab. For completing registration: Step 1 is registering through LPD, and
Step 2 is visiting www.iglax.org and completing the Camp and Clinic Registration
Form (under the "Get Ready to Play" tab).

This class will offer students the basic understanding of attack and defense.
Students will learn different moves and combinations All equipment is provided.
Non-residents will pay the same fee as residents for the Extra Advanced class,
due to having already enrolled in the Advanced class at the non-resident rate.

FALL GIRLS SOFTBALL
(Grades 1-8)
The Lombard Park District and the surrounding communities are teaming up to
offer a youth softball program for all ages and skill levels. The goal is to create
an opportunity for fundamental skills development in a positive, safe and most
importantly, fun environment. Coaches will determine all practice times. The
Park District reserves the right to combine age levels if necessary.
