Immediately following the outdoor soccer season, this program enables your soccer enthusiast to continue their skill development through fun games and drills, as well as scrimmaging. We are offering an opportunity for you to continue playing basketball into the fall. The Chicago Bulls/Sox Training Academy offers a league for teams in the surrounding area, and the Lombard Park District will be entering teams this season! Each team will practice at least 90 minutes per week starting in mid-August. Teams will have between 8-15 players, so there is a possibility that some players may be cut. Please note this is a competitive league and there is no guaranteed playing time. Experienced coaches are needed, so please contact Nathan at (630) 620-7322 if you are interested in coaching a team. All participants MUST tryout on August 15 or 17. Please register for the FREE tryout by using the codes below. The fees listed are only assessed to participants who are selected to a team. Tots: Progressive levels 1-4 providing ages 3 and 4 with ice orientation, balance, agility, and fun. Pre-Alpha: This class is intended for ages 5-13 with no previous formal instruction. Participants will learn 1 & 2 foot slides, forward & backward Swizzles and the backward wiggle. Hockey Tot 1: Participants ages 3-4 will learn ice coordination, balance, and agility while wearing hockey equipment. Hockey skates and helmet required. Hockey Alpha 1: Participants ages 5-13 with no previous formal instruction will learn basic forward and backward skating while wearing hockey equipment. Hockey skates and hockey helmet are required.
