GIRLS SOFTBALL
(Ages 5-14)
The Lombard Park District and the Glen Ellyn Girls' Softball Association are
teaming up again to offer an extensive youth softball program including
instruction for all ages and skill levels. The primary goal is to create an opportunity
for fundamental skills development in a positive, supportive, friendly, safe and,
fun environment for every player. Coaches will determine practice times. The
Park District reserves the right to combine age levels if necessary.

SOFTBALL SKILLS CLINIC
(Grades 3-6)
Tim May and Mike Donnelly will be teaching players skills in order to prepare
them for the upcoming season. Girls will receive instruction in fielding, batting,
throwing, and game situations. Please bring your glove, bat, and a positive
attitude.

GLENBARD EAST SOFTBALL CLINICS
(Ages 9-14)
Girls interested in sharpening their skills can join these clinics. Players will learn
proper techniques in pitching, catching, hitting, fielding, and game situations. A
pitching machine will be used for hitting instruction. Bring your softball glove,
bat, comfortable clothes and a positive attitude.

FENCING
(Ages 8 +)
This class will offer students the basic understanding of attack and defense.
Students will learn different moves and combinations that will help them develop
their skill. Fencing is great exercise for all ages. All equipment is provided.

PART-TIME TRAVEL TEAM
(Ages 10 & Under)
Tim May and Mike Donnelly will be coaching a 10u part-time travel
softball team for 2018. Tryouts will occur in early April. Please contact
Nathan Kinsinger at (630) 953-6102 for more information. All player
birth dates must be January 1, 2007 or later.
