ACTIVE OLDER ADULT
(Ages 15 +)
The Active Older Adult workout is a total body fitness program. Class is
formatted with 15 minutes of cardio movement followed by 15 minutes of seated
resistance training and balance work. We finish class with 10 minutes of cardio
and 5 minutes of stretching. All cardio moves can be done seated in the chairs
that are provided. Receive a $24 discount when registering for both classes.

WAKE UP CALL
(Ages 15 +)
Monday–Cardio Strength Interval: Join us for a total body workout. This class
will incorporate a cardiovascular workout with interval, resistance, and strength
training. Abdonimals will also be targeted. This class is suitable for all fitness
levels. You will burn fat, build endurance, define & strengthen your muscles.
Please bring a yoga mat.
Wednesday– Cardio and Core with Ball: Improve muscle strength, flexibility,
balance, and focus with the use of a stability ball. Perform a wide variety of
movements and exercises to improve your core strength and cardiovascular
endurance. The ball, is also very effective for stretching and strengthening the
core muscles. Please bring stability ball and yoga mat.

BOOT CAMP
(Ages 15 +)
Go the extra step and push yourself to achieve your goals. This class will
combine cardiovascular, endurance, and strength training using dumbbells,
barbells, tubes, and body weight exercises. Through challenging yet fun and safe
exercises, you will get a total body workout and will feel more energized.

AFTERNOON WALKING
(Ages 15 +)
This walking class will have many options. We will visit several beautiful Lombard
parks. You will have the option to just walk, Nordic walk (with poles provided
by the instructor), or add a set of light dumbbells and exercise while you walk.
There will be a 5-minute warm-up and a 5-minute cool down with stretches. A
list of parks and dates will be given at Madison Meadow Park on the first day. The
instructor is a ACSM certified personal trainer.

SRS: STRENGTH, RESISTANCE,
STRETCH
(Ages 15 +)
Defy the aging process! Keep the muscle tone and strength of your youth. Stay
healthy and strong with the use of weighted body bars, dumbbells, and tubes.
The program design will switch from strength to endurance or from endurance
to integrated functional movement patterns periodically (periodization training),
which will help you avoid training plateaus. This class is for all fitness levels.

FRONT, BACK, SIDES WORKOUT
(Ages 15 +)
Let's target your muscles, shaping abs, back, butt, thighs and arms. You will get
strong using your body weight as resistance along with free weights. Variety is
key for keeping workouts effective. We will do new takes on classic moves.
