Maple Street Chapel
Lombard's first church is listed in the National Register of Historical Places. Located
at the southwest corner of Maple & Main Street, the chapel is open for group tours by

Historical Museum
Discover historical Lombard! The museum is located at 23 W. Maple Street. Tours are
also available for the historic Sheldon Peck Homestead. Call (630) 629-1885 for hours
and information.
Lilac Heritage Tours
Lilacia Park is rich in both history and horticulture. Learn what makes it so special. Enjoy
a tour of Lilacia Park by a guide from the Lombard Historical Society. Whether you're a
history buff or a lilac enthusiast, you will enjoy the journey. Fee is $5 per person which
includes the "History of the Lilac Collection" exhibit. We can accommodate up to 60
people but groups of 10+ need advance reservations. For more information or to book a

Historical Museum
Discover historic Lombard, just steps from Lilacia Park! The historic Victorian Cottage is
located at 23 W. Maple Avenue explores Victorian life and the history of our Lilac Village.
Tours are also available of the 1839 Sheldon Peck Homestead a National Park Service
Network to Freedom site by appointment only during the festival. Call (630) 629-1885

Temporary Exhibit: Lilacs 101
During regular Victorian Cottage hours, see lombardhistory.org for details. Lilacs were
brought to Lombard in 1911 by William and Helen Plum. Their collection blossomed while
Col. Plum's passion for the horticulture of this species grew. This exhibit will focus on the
botanical nature of this world class lilac collection that the International Lilac Society
stated that it was the best cared for collection in the world. Meet at Lombard Historical

The Country Store in Lilacia Park
While visiting beautiful Lilacia Park, come visit the historic Coach House located in Lilacia
Park near the Helen Plum Library. Hand crafted Lilac Time items will be on display and
available for purchase. Any interested artists should contact the Lombard Park District at
