56 /lombardparks SUNSET YOGA (Ages 15+) The perfect class to end a stressful day. This Hatha Yoga class (inspired from Anusara and Iyengar Yoga alignment principals) is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. Props are used to support postures for longer periods of time, while gently stretching and strengthening the body. By focusing and breathing with the movement of the body, the practice aligns the physical and mental while moving towards stillness and resting in postures for extended periods of time. Each class concludes with a meditation. This is a great class to unload the stresses from day to day living. Come join us and melt your tension away. This class is appropriate for students of all levels. Instructor is certified in 200 hour of Hatha Yoga. Participants are encouraged to bring: 2 yoga blocks, a yoga strap and a blanket. Develop fundamental postures, breath control, and relaxation. We lose flexibility as we age. Let's increase range of motion so we can continue doing the things we used to be able to do. This class is structured for those new to yoga or those revisiting yoga after many years. Instructor is certified in 200 hours Hatha Yoga. Participants will be responsible for bringing their own yoga sticky mat, yoga straps, and yoga blocks. Instructor is ACE Certified.
