The team practices Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and meets are scheduled throughout the summer at various participating DuPage Park District Teams. Note: If you register your child for the Swim and the Dive Team, you will be charged the full rate for swim team and half the rate for the dive team. There is an eight week competitive season that begins at the beginning of June and ends at the end of July. Blue and White Team members practices are held five days a week in the morning (times are subject to change) and Junior Swim Team members practice three times a week also in the morning (times are subject to change) and participate only in home meets. Meets are held on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings at various DuPage pools. Coach: Pam Forsberg Location: Paradise Bay Water Park Blue Team (Ages 11+): Geared toward the experienced competitive swimmer. Younger swimmers may be admitted with the coach's permission. Practices emphasize advanced stroke mechanics. Team members ages 8 and younger must be able to swim one lap of the pool without stopping. Members ages 9 and older must be able to swim two laps. Swim meet entries are limited. Swimmers with advanced swimming techniques can be changed to the White Team upon coaches' discretion. Should a child be moved to the White Team, regular Swim Team fees will apply. Meets need a lot of people on deck to time, judge, or score the meet. We need all of our parents to support the team by volunteering their times at meets and by working to raise money through team-supported fundraisers. We have a great group of parents and a lot of fun supporting our teams!
