This means that home games will be played in Lombard, but road games will be played in other towns. It is still a recreational league focusing on player development and has rules such as all players must play 50% of the game. The four day camp will concentrate on the fundamentals of passing, setting, and spiking. The lesson plan directs the use of self-mastery training that helps each student reach a new level. The knowledge of the instructors will give the participants a head start on their skills in preparation for the next upcoming volleyball season. Each team will practice at least 90 minutes per week starting in mid- August. Teams will have between 8-15 players, so there is a possibility that some players may be cut. Please note this is a travel league and there are no playing time guarantees. Experienced coaches are needed, so please contact Nathan at (630) 620-7322 if you are interested in coaching a team. All New Wave Summer Camps are coached by the professional coaching staff at New Wave Lax and current D1, D2, D3 and collegiate New Wave Alumni! This exciting 3-day camp will offer separate itineraries for experienced players and beginners. All are welcome. Experienced players will advance their spring season skills through high-level instruction, drills and games. Beginners will learn the game from "square one" and quickly advance into game-ready competitors. Rental equipment is available on-site at the camp.
