HEALTHY SNACKS:
Through the years, it has become common
for parents to bring after-game snacks for
the youth athletic teams. In keeping with
promoting health and fitness, we ask that you
choose healthy items when doing so.
TEAM FORMATION GUIDELINES:
For information on how teams are formed and friendship requests, visit
lombardparks.com. Please note that you are not guaranteed a requested coach
or friend.
PARENT MANUALS:
Programs such as youth basketball, soccer, t-ball, and tennis lessons have
manuals posted online that provide many answers that you may have going into

YOUTH ATHLETICS
FLAG FOOTBALL
(Ages 6-9)
Time to kick off the football season! This
co-recreational program gives your child an
excellent opportunity to learn the basic skills of
football including throwing, catching and blocking
in a safe environment. Participants will learn the basics
and play scrimmage games on Saturday afternoons. Each
participant will be given a team T-shirt. Ages will be combined if minimums are
not met. Volunteer coaches are encouraged to apply ASAP to assist staff.

FENCING
(Ages 8+)
This class will offer students the basic understanding of attack and defense.
Students will learn different moves and combinations that will help them develop
their skill. Fencing is great exercise for all ages. All equipment is provided.
