For more information please call (630) 620-7322. LILAC TOWN SENIORS (Ages 55+) If you're a senior looking to meet new friends or renew old acquaintances, Lilac Town Seniors is the club for you! Founded in 1972 as a social organization, Lilac Town Seniors consists primarily of Lombard residents and always welcome new members. Monthly afternoon activities include BINGO and refreshments. Get your hands dirty creating something amazing for all of Lombard to enjoy! Join Lombard Park District's Horticulturalist, Jane Burke at Terrace View Park to help install plants at the newly renovated Pollinator Habitat Garden. This 1,600 square foot educational garden consists of 11 different bed designs that use a mix of natives, annuals and nativars to entice a wide variety of pollinators. Gardeners will learn about the different species and varietals, plus get tips and tricks for planting a pollinator garden of their own. Dates and times will be scheduled based on weather.
