32 /lombardparks Music PIANO AND FLUTE INSTRUCTION (Ages 7-17) Private Piano Lessons: Each lesson will be tailored to the individual student's needs. The books that are needed will be determined based on the student's musical knowledge and playing ability. Beginner to intermediate players. Private Flute Lessons: Each session will be tailored to the individual student's needs. Lessons are offered in 30-minute time slots (hour lessons are available upon request) on Mondays and Wednesdays. The books that are needed will be determined based on the student's musical knowledge and playing ability. The lessons will include how to properly warm up, technique studies, IMEA preparation for Junior High and High School students interested in auditioning, as well as preparing standard flute solo repertoire. Instructor John Adams has over ten years experience teaching children how to play ukulele. John successfully uses an approach he has created that gives his students immediate success which boosts their confidence and inspires further exploration.
