56 /lombardparks Group fitness LAND GROUP EXERCISE CONTINUED OUTDOOR INTERVALS (Ages 15+) Come enjoy the outdoors while getting an awesome workout with interval training. The class will use a variety of cardio activities and body weight exercises for a total body workout. SWITCH IT UP (Ages 15+) Each week we will use a new format. Step, kickboxing, resistance bands, medicine balls, Nordic walking, body weight, dumbbells, and stability balls. We will also visit the fitness center. FITNESS 55+ (Ages 55+) Participants of all levels will increase strength, endurance, balance, and mind agility through the use of dumbbells, resistance bands, step, and balls. CARDIO YOGA PILATES (Ages 15+) Improve your overall fitness by strengthening your cardiovascular system, toning your arms and legs, firming your core with Pilates. and gain flexibility with yoga and improve your balance. ZUMBA STEP (Ages 15+) Zumba Step is a combination of step training and a regular Zumba class. It combines all the toning and strengthening of step with the fitness-party everyone loves. Burn calories while toning and strengthening legs and glutes. MUSCLE WORK (Ages 15+) Experience a total body strength training workout that will target all of your major muscle groups. All levels of fitness welcome. ON THE BALL (Ages 15+) A class designed using the stability ball, medicine ball, and genie ball. Exercises will work to stabilize and strengthen the core. TRX INTERVAL (Ages 15+) Suspension training with high intensity efforts. TRX can be scaled to fit any individual. Other equipment maybe used including but not limited to weights and cardio bursts. CALISTHENICS (Ages 15+) Workout without weights. Basic body weight exercises will help build strength and endurance. INTRODUCTION TO STRENGTH TRAINING (Ages 15+) Light weights and easy moves will help introduce beginners (or people returning to fitness) to strength training. Track walking will be used to warm up and cool down. MIND & BODY CLASSES YOGA (Ages 15+) Invigorate your mind and body and relax from a busy day while you sweat and strengthen your body in this high energy workout. VINYASA FLOW YOGA (Ages 15+) Enjoy a blend of yoga postures and synchronized breath and smooth movement. Vinyasa Flow Yoga increases strength and flexibility while calming and steadying the mind. YOGA SCULPT (Ages 15+) This class will combine yoga with the use of light weights to strengthen and tone your body. Short cardio bursts will be used to enhance the workout. YOGA LITE (Ages 55+) Enjoy the morning gently opening and strengthening the body. This class will focus on standing postures and will be adjusted to each person's skill. PARENT & CHILD YOGA (Ages 4-8 and a parent) Spend time with your child while increasing flexibility, strength, and your parent-child bond. Fee includes one adult and two children. KIDS & TEENS YOGA (Ages 7-17) Keep your child and teen active and flexible. This class is designed to introduce/continue to foster yoga practice among children and teens. NEW! NEW! NEW! NEW!
