Some balance and posture work will be done, as well. GENTLE A.M. YOGA (Ages 15+) Develop fundamental postures, breath control, and relaxation. This class is structured for those new to yoga or revisiting yoga after many years. KIDS & TEENS YOGA (Ages 7-17) Keep your child and teen active and flexible. This class is designed to introduce/continue to foster yoga practice among children and teens. PARENT & CHILD YOGA (Ages 4-8 and a parent) Spend time with your child while increasing flexibility, strength, and your parent-child bond. Fee includes one adult and two children. PRENATAL YOGA (Ages 15+) Prepare yourself both mentally and physically for the changes pregnancy brings. Prenatal yoga emphasizes gentle stretching and strengthening poses to nurture the pregnant body. SUNSET YOGA (Ages 15+) This restorative yoga class focuses on releasing deeply held tensions from both the mind and body to reset the central nervous system. Props are used to support postures for longer periods of time, while gently stretching and strengthening the body and calming the mind. VINYASA FLOW YOGA (Ages 15+) Enjoy a blend of yoga postures and synchronized breath and smooth movement. Vinyasa Flow Yoga increases strength and flexibility while calming and steadying the mind. YOGA (Ages 15+) Invigorate your mind and body and relax from a busy day while you sweat and strengthen your body in this high energy workout. YOGA LITE (Ages 15+) Enjoy the morning gently opening and strengthening the body. This class will focus on standing postures and will be adjusted to each person's skill. YOGA SCULPT (Ages 15+) This class will combine yoga with the use of light weights to strengthen and tone your body. Short cardio bursts will be used to enhance the workout. ZEN (Ages 15+) Gently stretch your muscles while working on core strength and balance. Class will work on breathing techniques and end with relaxation. SPECIALTY TAI CHI CHUAN AT SKRC (Ages 13+) Through practice, your mind can achieve a stillness and clarity rarely experienced with other forms of exercise, integrating your body, mind, and spirit and helping you to achieve inner peace. Practice strengthens the immune system, reduces blood pressure and stress, and releases tension allowing a feeling of positive energy to flow through your body.
