REVOLUTION ROLLER SKATING
(Ages 3-10)
Come join us and learn to roller figure skate! This is the perfect place to learn
how to roll, balance, and do a few tricks on roller skates! Our nationally-certified
coaches, fun games and activities will get you rolling in no time! In every class,
students are evaluated on their progress and our coach feedback is available to
see online. Medals are then presented to students every time they pass eight
new skills. Don't have skates? No sweat. Skate rental is included.

FENCING
(Ages 8+)
Want to wield a sword? Enjoy competitive fun safely without "fighting." All
equipment is provided. Instructor considers height and ability of each fencer.
Register with family members or friends to increase the fun! Additional family
members receive a 50% discount when registering together.
New Fencing Equipment Procedure: Fencing is one of the few sports that
already practices safe social distancing. However, unless otherwise stated,
fencers will now be required to rent personal equipment for the session or
purchase their own basic set, typcially around $140. To rent a personal set of
equipment, please contact Fencing Sports Club at (630) 678-0035 with your
measurements and report to the first class of the beginner session. There is
no guarantee for perfect-fitting equipment when renting and rentals will be
made available at the discretion of the instructor. If you prefer to purchase a
personal beginner set, our club is happy to quickly assist with ordering from Blue
Gauntlet. Participants must attend the first class with a new set in hand. At the
end of session, our club may buy equipment back at 50% of original purchase
price. Coughing or sneezing while wearing masks will not be allowed. At this
time in the CDC recommendations, fencers will wear a cloth mouth mask in
addition to fencing masks. If a fencer is not feeling healthy, or there is a sickness
in the family, the instructor reserves the right to dismiss the fencer. Please note:
this policy may be adjusted based upon further recommendations from CDC.

ICE SKATING
(Ages 3+)
Center Ice Skating School in Glen Ellyn offers ice skating instruction for all
ages and ability levels. Participants registering through the Park District receive
discounted lessons. For more information, call (630) 790-9696 ext. 115.
Parent/Tot: Parent and tot (Ages 3-4) on the ice together. Both will need skates.
Will learn balance and agility in a fun atmosphere.
Tot I: Progressive levels 1-4 providing ages 3-4 with ice orientation, balance,
agility and fun.
Basic I: This class is intended for ages 6-13 with no previous formal instruction.
Participants will learn 1- and 2-foot slides, forward and backward swizzles and
the backward wiggle.
Parent/Tot Hockey: Parent and tot (Ages 3-4) on the ice together. Both will
need skates. Will learn balance and agility in a fun atmosphere.
Little Hockey: Participants (Ages 3-4) will learn ice coordination, balance, and
agility while wearing hockey equipment. Hockey skates and helmet required.
Beginner Hockey: Participants (Ages 5-13) with no previous formal instruction
will learn basic forward and backward skating while wearing hockey equipment.
Teen/Adult Basics: (Ages 14+) Classes will tailor to individual needs.
Adult Beginner Hockey: (Ages 14+) Class will tailor to individual needs. Hockey
skates and hockey helmet are required. Hockey stick optional.
