Both will need skates. We will learn balance and agility in a fun atmosphere. Little Hockey (Ages 3-4): Participants learn ice coordination, balance and agility while wearing hockey equipment. Hockey skates and a helmet will be required. Beginner Hockey (Ages 5-13): Participants without previous formal instruction will learn basic forward and backward skating while wearing hockey equipment. Adult Beginner Hockey (Ages 14+): This class will tailor to individual participant needs. Hockey skates and hockey helmet will be required. Hockey sticks are optional. Ice Skating & Hockey at a glance Center Ice of DuPage Skating Academy in Glen Ellyn offers ice skating instruction for all ages and ability levels. Participants registering through the park district receive discounted lessons. For more information, please call (630) 790-9696 ext. 115. Unleash some fun at Spring Avenue Dog Park in Glen Ellyn! Lombard Park District reimburses Lombard Park District residents the difference between Glen Ellyn Park District's resident and non-resident fee for a permit at their Spring Avenue Dog Park. Spring Avenue Dog Park charges a resident fee of $35 and non-resident fee of $80. A second dog option is offered for an additional $30 for residents and an additional $50 for non-residents. To obtain a park permit, please visit the Glen Ellyn Park District. Reimbursements will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis for the first 150 dog permit registration receipts received at Lombard Park District's Administrative Office, located at 227 W. Parkside Ave, Lombard, IL. Dog owners must provide printed proof that dogs have received rabies vaccinations to obtain a permit for the park.
